Leo Oster

As a neurodivergent student, Leo understands the challenges of navigating a neurotypical elementary education system. Leo wants other neurodivergent students to see themselves reflected in his book. He hopes it inspires you to find the joy of living to your strengths.

Leo loves exploring the sandy beaches and cedar forests that surround his home on Vancouver Island, where he lives with his mother and his Labrador, Max.

Laura Galan

Laura Galan has over 40 years of experience in the field of Nursing, specializing in Mental Health. She has provided educational services to individuals and families, taught Nursing in clinical and academic settings, and worked with the RCMP to support people in crisis. Now, she is a children’s author and Neurodivergent advocate, using her expertise to raise awareness and promote inclusivity.
